Poem.

Solitude

And as I breathe in

I feel my lungs expand

and push my ribs outward

like double gates

opening to let out my heart

Gliding through the gates

a roseate vision, my heart

rises up passed my face

β€˜til it reaches the top of my head

hovering there

glowing like a halo

it expands to encircle

my breathing body

The air inside me

exchanges the old for the new

I breathe out

The heart shape

descends all around me

 a rose coloured ring

brushes my eyelashes

my lips

my chest

my hips

and dissipates at my feet

bathed in love,

I forgive myself

- heal
